“Art is intimate. Good art is reflective, personal, and self-disclosing. And as such, more often than not, it is intimidating to share with people. My wife and I were humbled when a friend provided the avenue for us to work with David and his wonderful engineer Tom. Our experience has been more than just writing and recording. That's because David and Tom approach recording as craftsmen. They bring something to the creative process that allows the art to be more reflective, more personal, more self-disclosing, and more intimate. They know how to challenge people to stretch beyond what they may see as possible. For us that meant playing in front of seasoned masters who instantly became friends, and also thinking more three dimensionally when writing.
